Opera is the best and fastest internet browser for this computer. You can download it for free. Also, Dolphin is OK. Android is already setup to play Youtube videos. WinCE might not though.

  9. by mcordima, on November 13 2012 @ 2:31 am

It depends on who you buy it from. Check the list of software included on your device before you buy it. If it comes with WINCE it should include an old version of a WORD compatible program already installed. If it comes with Android, you may need to go to the Android Market and download one of the many WORD DOC compatible programs available for download there.

All I want to do is type WORD docs right out the box. Is this possible?

My only suggestion would be to try to find a v-talk app in the Android Market.

  13. by mcordima, on November 13 2012 @ 4:06 am

Unfortunately it does. There are several Android apps that can help to improve this issue dramatically though and if you are close to a wifi source (say at a coffee shop) you shouldn’t have too many problems.

  15. by Mineav, on November 13 2012 @ 4:28 am

How good is the wifi range? Does the connection drop a lot?

  16. by mcordima, on November 13 2012 @ 4:57 am

DON’T use a flash drive with this machine, it just won’t work. Only use an SD card. Extract (unzip) the files ON the SD card or unzip them on your computer and copy them to the SD card. In this case you should NOT put them in a new folder, just move the files to the SD card without making a new folder to put them in.

rar IS a zip file, just a different kind that uses a program called ‘rar’. Right click on the file and try to open it with your regular zip program. If it doesn’t work, search for the rar zip program via Google and download it for free.

Lets see, Yes, No (the format is a little different for Android), No and I don’t know (I’ve only tried AVI and MRI files).

  19. by Wayne Wilkinson, on November 13 2012 @ 6:24 am

and i cant get the ones that ive downloaded to flash am i not rooting the right file? you just unzip it copy it to the sd card as the open file then pop in the sd card to the smartbook then boot right?

Does the Wolvol Android 2.2 use java, use Yahoo just like a regular computer, use adobe reader, and watch movies in any format (Megavideo, Putlocker, etc.)?

  22. by mcordima, on November 13 2012 @ 7:54 am

You will have to take your original order number and call up or email the company you bought it from. They might be able to send you the original firmware (or give you a link to download it from). Unfortunately the original firmware cannot be found on the internet for free at this time. You can upgrade to Modroid or Uberoid though.

Type in “android 2.2 manual” into google and click on the first link that comes up. There is another link on that page that you can download a free android 2.2 manual from in PDF format.

several e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
