Archives for Apanda A60 category

I won’t lie, I’ve been pretty darn excited about the Millennius Apanda from the moment I first read about it. Why? Because I liked the idea of seeing an Aussie company bring an Android Device to the market, something Kogan couldn’t quite do and let a few people down. Millennius however, have come through with the goods and were kind gave us the Apanda to review for you guys, and that’s exactly what I’m about to do. So let’s get into it!

Editor’s note: This review was re-done after being told it was test software & a wipe fixed the lag I faced.

  • Lightweight
  • Android 2.1 (Vanilla)
  • Capacitive Display
  • Multi Touch

  • Plastic feel doesn’t suit everyone
  • No trackball notifications :(

While the Apanda A70 is nor released yet… check out his Apanda A60 Video:

You know Apanda is not a panda. This company ever made an android phone called Apanda A60, which make the company known to, at least, this little site’s visitors. Now I am glad here to send a word to let you know that Apanda has new baby: A60s. As its name implies, this phone has a lot similar to its elder brother A60, or to speak more exactly they looks the same. But the specs got improved.

Apanda A60s is powered by a 600MHz Qualcomm 7227 chip, packing a 3.2 HVGA capacitive touchscreen, 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, and a 5-megapixels camera. It runs Android 2.1 OS. Surely better specs comes with higher price. Its 8GB version priced at 2488 Yuan.
